The Bible And Buying A House

The Bible And Buying A House

The holy bible truly is one of the BEST books ever written.

I know that I am a bit biased because it’s my favorite book, but it’s true. And if you go by book sales, there is no comparison…The holy bible is the greatest book of all time.

A friend of mine in Dallas is looking for a new home, and anyone that knows me, knows I love the bible. SO my friend asked me:

“What does the bible say about buying a house?”

The bible covers every topic in one way or another that you may be going through. The scripture that comes to mind for house buying is:

Proverbs 24:27 ESV

“Prepare your work outside; get everything ready for yourself in the field, and after that build your house.”

If you want to buy a house you must prepare for the purchase. Make sure you are ready to handle the responsibility, then you can make your purchase.

The bible says don’t by more house than you can afford, or it will become a curse rather than a blessing.

How many people during the housing bubble in America bought a house because the bank said they could afford it, even though they knew they could NEVER afford the house. You must use your resources wisely; Do your calculations and know what you can afford, don’t let the bank decide, you decide for yourself.

If you follow the teachings of the Bible, then you understand that God will provide your every need.

Special shout out to my cash buying home investor at Cash For Houses Direct, for helping me realize that in real estate cash is king, and buying a house doesn’t have to be so stressful.

All Things Are Possible With God

I remember a time in my life when I was having a really tough time. I was 25 years old just out of college and I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life. I saw many of my friends and family who seem to be happy and successful. I wasn’t happy or successful at all.

That’s when I met a Mike

Mike was a Law student who lived in New York and happened to be visiting my hometown, Louisville, Kentucky. He was doing some practices at my University and we met one afternoon at the cafeteria. He was talking to a group of people that I barely knew. I was sitting by myself on a nearby bench and he approached me invited me to join them. Then he started to tell some stories about his life.

He had a natural talent to talk to people and to entertain them and also give important life lessons. We became friends fast and he noticed that something was off with me. I told him that even though I had finished school and had my degree in Social Studies I did not know what I wanted to do with my life.

That everything seemed very difficult and that I felt overwhelmed for all the responsibilities that laid ahead. I remember that he didn’t say a word for about 20 seconds and then he pulled a book from his backpack.

That book was the Holy Bible.

He went to Mark 10:27 and read: “And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

Welcome to my Website

Welcome to my Website

Hello everyone!

hello pic on iphoneMy name is Dave and I want to welcome you to my website!

Immanuel Honey Creek is a place to ponder about the wonderful teachings of the Holy Bible. Here you will find quotes, reflections, and lessons that we can all use in our daily lives.

You will also find my personal view on many topics and I will always make my main point about one thing: LOVE.

I believe love is the most important thing in this world, we know that there are thousands of religions out there, my personal opinion is that all the religions must be based on love.

Jesus teaches us to love. In the New testament, the book of John show us this. heart with arrow in it

1 John 4:20

“If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.”

In the 42 years that I have lived on this wonderful Earth, I have learned many lessons, and most of the time the hard way.

I have had my ups and downs in my faith, but I always end up with the same conclusion: “you are always loved, Dave”.

No matter what we do or how we behave we will always be loved by someone. Jesus loves us because we are his children.  And above all he loves us unconditionally.

Remember that the Lord, our God, is always with you and you can always have his guidance if you are in trouble or in despair.
